New Champions!

Sacred Silence is the Native American term for the place of inner peace or meditation, and our farm is nestled in a hammock of ancient Live Oak trees that we are sure was a place of reflection for our ancestors. In a more modern sense, it is the beautiful quietness that occurs when everyone is fed and happy. The cattle have always been Greg’s passion, and sheep came as unplanned additions when our friend Bud Adams needed a place to keep a few ewes while he relocated and fixed up a place for them. That was in 2011, and now we have more than a few ewes through no one’s fault but our own. Bud and Annette Adams, as well as Dave Whitaker and JB Massey have provided and continue to provide invaluable mentorship to us as we work to improve our genetics and reach a level that anyone in the country would be happy to have our stock in their barn. We have a dedicated group of young people who are an integral part of taking care of the farm on a daily basis. We strongly believe that many life lessons are learned accidently while participating in the livestock showing lifestyle. There are a couple of things in life that never get old. One is witnessing the miracle of birth, and another is seeing a young person succeed as a direct result of their hard work. These things keep us hooked and probably will for some time to come. We are located three miles off on I-75 on the way to all of the attractions most people come to Florida for, and welcome visitors at any time.
